Immediately after charging, the voltage read is just surface charge.
A more accurate reading of the battery voltage, we can switch on the headlamp with engine off, for 5 mins to drain off the surface charge. If the battery remains at 12.6V or above, it is a healthy battery.
Both 55W headlamp bulbs are draining off 10A, that mean a 55Ah battery should be able to operation for 5.5h before it is totally off. |
