打錯算盤

Gumpert, the German manufacturer of the Apollo sports car, has filed for insolvency after failing to meet required sales targets. The company is seeking further investment to continue its venture into the Chinese market.

The appointed administrator, Görge Schied, thinks that the business has a 'good chance of recovery' on the condition that a suitable investor is found. The company has been working hard on cracking the Chinese market over the past year, while neglecting customers on home soil.

Roland Gumpert, founder of the company, also has a positive outlook, stating: 'The Apollo has gained an exclusive fan base throughout Germany and Europe. Now we have taken care of this customer base intensely. Production continues and we hope to sell the first vehicle within this week'.

The Apollo is one of the fastest cars evo has ever tested, with a 3.0 second 0-60mph time, and 220mph top speed. At the hands of WTCC driver Florian Gruber, the Apollo Sport managed to lap the Ring in a time of 7:11.57.

唔通佢真係以為大陸人會因為佢快就會比多多錢買車?
