換咗呔...... 前 RE-11, 後 RS Sport.
不過出咗事! 用咗215/45R17 原來會勁刮沙板同埋輪拱內的軟膠。
又原來螺絲太長....
結果前面用番原裝螺絲: 加咗spacer後比原本短咗2mm
後面用厚spacer加27mm螺絲
家陣係咁o夷都刮沙板,冇得皮添....

What size of spacer did you use for front & rear?
For the long bolts, you can saw or grind off the extra length, may be you can ask Jason / 陳水胃 for help.

Usage of 215/45R17 on the coupe with lowered suspension is indeed an issue, 215/40R17 would be a better choice but it would be quite bouncy.
Jason has 12mm spacer for the front, are you using the same spacer in the front?

Adding a new bump stop or 彈弓墊 is a good & cheap alternative.

Stock tire diameter is: 24.1 inch
215/45R17 tire diameter is: 24.6 inch
215/40R17 tire diameter is: 23.8 inch
Obviously, 215/40R17 is closer to stock tire diameter.

But, does the 0.5inch difference between stock tire and my selected 45R17 tire contribute to the tire scratch?  Or, because of the spacer that makes the tires closer to the tire arch?

What is the size of your front spacers?

I would say it is the spacers + lowered springs + 0.5 inch all that contributes towards the problem, if there are only 2 items out of the 3, you would still be ok, but 3 out of 3 then you are f*#ked!

我覺得你裝套舊彈簧膠都未必吾刮沙板,我以前後軑刮沙板裝左都繼續刮,幫助好少,而且裝左呢舊野會影響左個彈簧行程跟住架車會多左無為既彈跳,如果係後軑還好,裝前面架車會浮下浮下咁...

我係你最好就較番o岩個offset,吾用spacer,買過D螺絲,再吾得就修改沙板內隔,再吾得俾錢人摺輪弓邊。

Cannot wow, as 17" OZ cannot clear the 20vt Brembo brake caliper without using spacers.

我既問題係套鈴個offset太盡,條鈴出得濟...攪一大輪...買過套彈弓。而家後座坐滿人有時都會少少刮到。

跟住要升高番條避震大約10mm, 所以我諗option 2 唔係咁work, 佢只係限制彈弓行程, 唔係提高部車。

With hub centric spacer, 10~12mm is minimum otherwise there is insufficient material to secure the hub extension.

Or you can invest in a set of coil-overs like what Jockey / JRT did, and you don't need to worry about the ride height anymore.

I don't know and I am just guessing here, may be the Bravo suspension uses the progressive spring (i.e. smaller radius near at the top end) while Coupe's standard coil use a big radius spring from top to bottom? Hence the Bravo's top mount can fit a coilcover which use small radius spring.  My pure speculations!

Nearly all after-market 17" rims still need spacers to clear the Bembo, the factory 16" rims are quite well design and it clear the Bembo by just a few mm!

In the coupe top mount, there are three bumps. It need to line up with the car frame in the correct position for the correct caster setting. But the brova top mount doesn't has those bumps, you might not be able to line up to the correct caster

No, I will use original top mount. Bravo top mount cannot be used unless I change the spring top mount as well.
