Kobayashi is confirmed for a seat in Sauber 2010.

TOP

Kobayashi has attracted potential sponsorship backing from Panasonic & KDDI, hopfully Renault will stay in F1 and offer him a seat.  For his own sake, I wish he could drive with more intelligence, otherwise he could end up like Montoya, a big bright fireworks initially but fizzle out afterward.

John Howett's say on Kobayashi
http://www.autoevolution.com/new ... 010-seat-12283.html

Kobayashi had a good drive and get 6th, hope he would get a seat in Toyota's 2010 F1 program (if there is a 2010 Toyota program).

This is a very interesting F1 forum, some of the users are actually workers in respective F1 teams, a lot of insight into incidents and info that normally doesn't got picked up by the main stream media.

I was looking for the specifications of the Cosworth F1 2006 -> 2010 engine and come across this very interesting 2-side view towards Kobayashi / Button / Nakakjima incidents in Brazil.

Kobayashi was in this debut race as a drop in standby, he had everything to prove in this race to secure future race seat.

On the other hand, Button was on his quest to secure as much points as possible to win his world championship, he could not afford to crash out with a crazy young gun at all!

If you look at this clip (approx. 40 sec) of how he took out Nakajima, he was changing directions twice on the straight (which is not allowed in the F1 rule book), I was surprised that the stewards didn't take any action against Kobayashi afterwards.  He has proved that he got guts, he better proves that he has the skill to accompany him, otherwise he would end up like Jean Alesi being ultra aggressive but never achieve the ultimate prize.

係呀...係呀 , 佢第一場F1已經好有睇頭

I like the scenes when Buttons tried to overtake Kabayashi but then still be overtaken by Kabayashi, not for once, but for 2 times! That's really exciting.

Jenson has been extremely fortunate this year, when he was performing poorly in the 2nd half of the season, his competitors just messed up and got problems of their own and never managed to capitalise on those opportunities.  I think he will win this world championship, however he would not be on my F1 hero list, and he is likely to be a 1 hit wonder as well!

只剩兩場賽事, 今年應該Button 勝出吧.
