But the problem is 其哥 has already on-board and there is no return unless sell the car and buy another big horse. But this is non-sense so performance upgrade is one of the solution subject to the cost is not too high. It is totally expected to be lack of power since he used to drive the Sti.

I think this is a good opportunity to experience a relatively low power MR and get the most from her before thinking of seriously upgrading.

MR-S in not a good looking car, in fact MR-S is an ugly looking car, that is why I seriously discourage you to get one.  On the other hand, 其哥 already bought a MRS and complain about the lack of BHP, so I am poisoning him regardless!

To be honest, I think the cost for the performance upgrade is simply stupid!  It cost as much as 50% of the car which is totally non-economical!

hmmmm....he wasn't that POISON when i was interested in the MR-S bor.

Everythings that you need for an engine swap from 1ZZ-FE to a 2ZZ-GE engine within the MRS!

5.5j is indeed a bit small for the 195, although it fits but the tyre is actually slightly wider than the rims, hence the tyre wall will cave inwards slightly and allow excess side way movement in relation with the steering direction.

Btw, I am not one the of poison king , I AM THE POISON!

Where did u find it? Btw u are also one of the poision kings
135bhp is currently my target. My next move will be focusing on handling. Many lotus experts told me my rims 5.5j is too small for 195 tires & using 6 or 6.5j rim will significantly improve handling (increase side wall stiffness).
Will this make so much difference?    It costs quite a bit money to change all 4 rims

Heeheee.... There is a super charger kit for the K series Lotus Elise, will take the bhp to approx. 170bhp in stage 1 setup, it replaces the air con charger location, and got pretty good reviews in the past.   I shall look it up for you too!

Look out!  More BHP  coming your way!

Very interesting. But they are for s2 with Toyota engine only
don't poison me la
I've got some minor upgrade and stack in my dinning room for weeks. My wife has started complaining now if they are not removed asap

FINAL THOUGHTS
I am impressed with the overall quality, design and engineering that ForcedFed has put into the Stage 1 Turbo kit. The installation and results speak well for their efforts. ForcedFed is building a quality product that has the look of a factory effort. ForcedFed is a small independent company who must be praised for their work and taking such a business risk, however they do not have the resources of Lotus and thus their testing cannot duplicate a factory effort.

Additionally, any aftermarket kit that is not approved by Lotus is likely to void the factory warranty. The Toyota engine is has been proven to be durable in the Toyota vehicles. Aftermarket turbo and superchargers in the Toyota cars have not shown ill affect on the durability of the 2ZZ-GE engine. The Elise owner should then be armed with this knowledge and make their own decision.

So, if you're interested in a seriously fast Elise, one that can run past a Z06 on the straights, then consider the ForcedFed Stage 1 Turbo Kit.
