Try it out as you always want to have one. This one looks very standard and clean wor. just need to check out whether parts subject to wear and tear have been replaced if one prefers std one.

I doubted 695kg with full tank is true. Mine is the original one (1996) but weighs about 740kg full tank. The original MCC lightweight brake discs were removed and heavier dunlop tires are fitted wrt standard. But I have other weight savings i.e. alum fuel tank, lightweight battery, removal of radio/speakers, lightweight flywheel, no a/c as per original ones as well, etc.. I believe 720 ~ 730 kg will be more realistic for the original ones.

According to the lotus service manual weight is in unladen weight including full tank.

The weight of standaed elise = 755kg should be for later model.

695kg dry weight is more like it.

using dry weight is not representative if used as bhp/ton. The earliest elise s1 shall weigh 690kg (to be exact) officially as per attached file.
