Elise確係玩得過. 又唔大馬, 又唔大食, 又幾好feel, 唔駛玩咁快都得.
養佢都算平.
以而家28car的市價去睇呢架野, 54萬有130匹Elise又唔係貴.
不過問題係28car 的二手盤標價太貴.
所以要有策略咁attack 果d二手盤先得.

How does it compare?

Unless you start looking at Caterhams and Atoms, none of the Elise’s roadster rivals, like the MX-5, can match the purity of the driving experience. The Club Racer drives home this advantage. Try something further up the Lotus range and it will seem over-complicated and expensive in comparison.

What makes the Club Racer special?

The weight-loss programme on something as lithe at the current Elise involved changes large and small. Out go airbags, central locking, sound deadening, the audio system, passenger footrest, mudflaps and the soft-top. In goes an 'ASO shower cap' for keeping raindrops at bay, a lightweight motorsport-style battery and Lotus stickers instead of badges across the back.

There's a dedicated Sport mode to the switchable DPM (Dynamic Performance Management) stability control system, and adjustable front anti-roll bar for fettling your angle of attack through the Goodwood chicane. Retuned Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs are included.

Your Lotus dealer will happily supply you with a 'Club Racer Power Pack', which includes a new intake and exhaust. Grunt rises by 6bhp and 4lb ft of torque over the standard Toyota-supplied 1.6-litre engine, but the Power Pack is for trackday use only. Handy, as you may want a helmet on to deal with the lack of sound-deadening anyway.

You can also opt for the 'Comfort Pack', in which case you'll negate the weight-savings putting various features back into your Elise...

Attention to detail
Driven by our passion for lightweight the Elise 1.6 was stripped to the bare minimum. To achieve the weight reduction, we have removed the following components from the Elise, which was already considered a
lightweight vehicle;

• NVH Material -3kg
• Carpets -1kg
• Radio and Speakers -4kg
• Passenger Footrest -0.2kg
• Central Locking -0.3kg
• Mudflaps -0.6kg
• Soft Top Roof -5.9kg
The standard battery has been substituted with a lightweight battery which is currently used in the high performance Lotus 2-Eleven.
This substitution reduces the weight by a further 5.4kg. The passion forweight saving even includes replacing the 3D lettering on the rear of the car with a 2D Elise CR logo, saving 60g.
It is possible for the customer to reduce the overall weight further by taking up the dealer-fit Club Racer Power Pack and the optional forged wheels. The CR Power Pack saves a further 2.4kg and includes a Sports Exhaust, Air Box and Air Filter which will increase overall performance
by 7 bhp as well as introducing the more exciting induction and exhaust note.

The addition of optional forged wheels sees weight reduction where it matters most, at the unsprung mass. The forged wheels reduce the weight by a further 1.5kg and offer the driver an improved driving experience. Together these optional parts can save an additional 3.9kg in weight, taking the combined weight saving of the vehicle up to 28kg.

The Elise CR takes the dynamically brilliant Elise to a new level by removing up to 24kg in weight. This results in an improved power to weight ratio of the standard Elise 1.6 from 153bhp/ton to 157bhp/ton on
the Elise CR . By specifying the optional ASO Club Racer Power Pack the power to weight ration increase up to 166bhp/ton.
With the new Elise CR, Lotus has gone even further to deliver the most tactile Elise ever – without losing an ounce of style..
