I guess Mr Walter wanted to make a 1:1 model car for himself. Original S2 short wheel base should be a 1 piece chassis as it had a certain amount of production to meet the rally regulation. Mr Walter couldn't find one for collection, therefore, he made a very precise "Lego" car. I am sure the rigidity and stiffness have no problem since there is a very strong roll cage installed. Suspension tuning is even more advanced than original. They use computer stimulation to tune the suspension. Crazy |
