B4 RSK spec

有twin turbo.

The third generation Legacy sedan redesign has undergone a minor name change, with a B4 tag on the front, and RSK on the rear. The B4 (Boxer 4wd) refers to suspension tuning by Porsche, Subaru's new partner in Japan (in dealerships), and the RSK is simply the RS (Rally Sport) of the last model, with K (Kompresser) added, to distinguish it from the lesser NA RS model.

The new Legacy has gained 20mm of wheelbase, and lost 5mm from the overall height. The engine's (official) peak hp output changes little, but peak torque is up slightly, and the overall torque band is smoothed out and increased significantly in the lower rpm ranges, partially due to the higher compression ratio, up from the 8.0:1 of the previous model.

The turbo's have also been redesigned to spin up faster at the lower end. The suspension has been changed in the rear, from the McPherson Strut to a strut/Multi-link layout. Side airbags are now optional. Not noted above, but worth mentioning, is the fact that the NA DOHC motors gain Subaru's Active Valve Control System, essentially Variable Valve Control as used by most other major Japanese makers. Peak horsepower goes down slightly, but peak torque rises to 170ft/lbs arriving at 2800rpm, much lower than before.

The cockpit changes slightly, with the front cupholders becoming separated, with one on the upper console next to the radio in a clever pull-out, and the other in front of the center armrest/console, next to the parking brake. Rear trunk space has been widened, due to the multi-link suspension. The automatic get's a gated lever, and there's more wood trim in the cabin. There's a new climate-control system, with easier to use controls, and a new Macintosh audio system.

Ver 3 only use EJ20K la, the later version, from Ver 4(98) or Ver 5 (99)
use EJ207 engine, the water road are different. Also EJ207 with forged
piston. Sti Ra is difficult to find. Typr R (2 door), Sti Ra is even harder.
