F1 boss Brawn on speeding charge .Ross Brawn, 54, is the head of Brawn GP which includes British driver Jenson Button.
He is alleged to have driven his Mercedes at 100mph on the 70mph limit A30 near Okehampton in Devon.
Brawn, from Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, is expected to enter a plea at Plymouth Magistrates Court at 2pm.
Brawn is one of the highest-profile bosses in motor racing and has worked in the sport for more than 30 years. He is the former team principal at Honda and worked as technical director at Benetton and Ferrari.
Brawn GP leads the constructors' championship and its driver Jenson Button leads the drivers' championship. |
