With API-SL/ SJ specifications instead of the SM spec, that means the lubricant tries to increase the content of additives.
But one important thing is additives will consume over time due to mileage. In order to decrease the feeling of driver that the lubricant is deteriorating, the performance of such kind of lubricant will not be good in terms of short term throttle / engine reponse.....
