I just wonder such increased ignition power will affect the ignition timing.... The case may be similar to choosing wrong spark plugs of wrong gaps... I don't know if increasing the ignition power would really mean good at all times.
But one thing for sure, if our 20V turbo wants to increase the ignition power, we can either change the Coil-on-plug modules (if available) to aftermarket ones from MSD for example, or add a boosted voltage supply (up to 14.5V) to these modules. Such boosted supply must be isolated from the battery supply... The latter option seems viable at this moment with limited cost, but the lifetime of the modules will surely be shortened.
