Just bought a set of coilover suspension with height adjustment. It states that Don't adjust the height except it is on the car otherwise internal damage may result.
1) Does it mean that I cannot adjust unless it is installed and all wheels are on ground?
OR
2) I cannot adjust unless it is installed without the installation of wheels?
I prefer Option 2 since it will be easier to adjust the height to approx level without the wheels installed followed by putting them back on ground for final adjustment.作者: 古惑強 時間: 2011-3-23 14:41
Both conditions are okay, as long as it is already installed on the car. They don't want the customer to play with the kit if it is standalone on floor, as th pre-load spring can come off if you adjust it out of the max range, and you will need special tools to load the springs back on.
