Another Ferrari 458 Italia has died.

This one, the SIXTH 458 to die, was reportedly a mere pup at just 24 hours old, before its owner better acquainted Maranello’s finest with a big tree.

You will see the big tree survived. You will see the 458 didn’t. You will also notice it’s Friday… the 458’s Day of Death.

How many more Ferraris must perish on this grave day before the Dark Lord of Dead Supercars is sated?

According to the automaker, an adhesive used to attach a heat shield under the rear fender can ignite under high temperatures, leading to a larger fire in the engine bay. We've seen at least four cases on the internet of flaming 458s like this one, and while we can't say for certain, it would seem this adhesive is the likely cause.

Ferrari has designed a new heat shield that attaches with rivets, negating the need for the adhesive. Naturally, 458 owners are urged to call a dealer to schedule an appointment for the free fix.

Ferrari（法拉利） 458 Italia又發生火燒車意外了！地點在巴西聖保羅，正確發生時間無法確認，但卻是在Ferrari先前低調召回1248輛458 Italia宣布的2個月後，一輛458 Italia就這麼在巴西的公路上燒了起來。來自外電的消息指出，由於這部458 Italia的起火原因仍在調查，因此目前仍無法確定該部車的起火是否與先前的瑕疵有所關連。
